Eternal folk classic of Raja - only next to 'vetti veru vasam' and 'anda nilava thaan'.. There's lot of 'un-doing' gone into singer's efforts, un-do any classical training, un-do typical style of singing.. but yet there is this ease and fluency in singing such a village number.. hands down, who else but for.. Legendary S.Janaki *bows down*
I was surprised to see a k-track for this one, but of course the interludes in this k-track is a nightmare if you have loved the original (you should pay attention to interludes to acknowledge the tragedy :( ) Nevetheless, wanted to try my hands with this folklore, and attempt the village slang through out the song!
